Looking at this in the BE.S.T. coating or an M2. I’ve read the SBE 3 shoots high. Can anyone tell me if they agree and if so how high? Like a sporting clay model or higher?

I don't know. Sounds like most of the reports on POA are because people didn't know how to use factory shims.
YMMV.

Makes sense, I didn’t read they had shims. Thanks

I had an early one that shot high and left. My newer SBE3s shot a little (but not much) high. I adjusted the shims to a lower position and they shoot exactly to point of aim now.

Hard to wrong with an M2 / SBE3. Given current conditions, I've of course sold my guns but when I was a gun owner, my M2 shot to point of impact with bird / buckshot and would group slugs into 3" at 75 yards using an I/C choke and lining the bead up with the rib. I haven't owned a BEST but doubt you could go wrong with it, a standard SBE3 or an M2.

I’m curious why Benelli would put out a 3” 12ga SBE3 and a 20ga SBE3 when the M2 already exists in both configurations and is very similar

Supposedly a combination or cerakote with rubber? Again, that’s just from the LGS I haven’t researched it yet.

From what I've read....lol ,supposedly the SBE3 shoot high because they changed the design of the Comfortech stock and it flexes more now (too much)?
SBE's shot off for some folks... low? So they changed the rib on the SBE2 to a higher at the rear style. The SBE3 high issue is supposed to be stock related.
I've read that the M2 will be phased out in the near future as well, but no real info about how dramatic the change will be or when. I've an SBE and SBE2 with no co,plaints (and a few M2's), but specifically avoided the SBE3.
