I'd be interested in folks opinions on the various add-on sights for an EDC gun. Red Dots, optics or whatever else. Thumbs up or down?

With 60 yr old eyes and trifocals, just about anything works better for me than factory sights. I've been dabbling with a variety of different sights and have settled on the Dawson FO front with all black rear, or a red dot optic. I shoot better with a red dot, but I'm more comfortable with open sights in a EDC role.

I'm really liking my Hackathorn sights on my G43, green tritium front inside an orange circle with a serrated plain (non-tritium) rear. Steel of course. https://ameriglo.com/collections/products/glock-hackathorn-sets

My EDC sights are Trijicon HD XR sights.
My range gun sights are Dawson black rear and fiber optic front.
