Anyone replaced their headlight assembly to rectify the glazing and improve your light projection?
I drive a lot. More than most by a long shot and a lot of it is at night. I would really like to find a headlight that works better.
Work outfit is an 08 Tundra. The lenses are glazed and it seems that I am burning through a fair number of bulbs of late.
I did a quick search and there are a number of options. Anyone here with some firsthand experience on an aftermarket sway that is worth it?

I replaced the headlight assemblies on my '95 F150 with aftermarket from Rockauto a few years ago. A big improvement and they are holding up well. I don't recall exactly how much that I paid but it wasn't that much, less than $100 I believe. Be aware when you are shopping that there is some sort of rating or grade for the headlights that has to do with quality or durability or some such.

Mathew In another thread, I mentioned that I had to replace the full assembly in our ‘01 Sienna. I bought them from either Amazon or eBay. They are OEM and were easy to replace, came with standard halogen bulbs and have been flawless for several years.
Hope that’s of some help.

I bought a set from ebay for my first gen tundra. Really easy to install, and even has the bulbs. I recall they we from Phillipsburg PA, and under 100 for the pair. The change in light was pretty amazing. I also stepper up and put in Silverstar ultra or something, and they were a lot safer on the backroads.
My tip, pull the truck up to the garage door. Turn on the old lights and put tape on the door where the originals are focused. Then when you pop in the new ones, adjust the lens to hit in the same tape spot.
