The post asking about headlight restoration got me to thinking and I didn't want to jack that thread.
Anyone replaced their headlight assembly to rectify the glazing and improve your light projection?
I drive a lot. More than most by a long shot and a lot of it is at night. I would really like to find a headlight that works better.
Work outfit is an 08 Tundra. The lenses are glazed and it seems that I am burning through a fair number of bulbs of late.
I did a quick search and there are a number of options. Anyone here with some firsthand experience on an aftermarket sway that is worth it?

I can't speak to the glaze, but I switched to LED bulbs and love them. I run mine as DRLs 100% of the time and they've lasted at least three years now.

Do not buy aftermarket lenses/assemblies.
They are all cheap, plastic crap to begin with & will develop hazing twice as fast as OE.
Get new factory ones & the style of capsules you like.
LED are $hit up here, for melting snow/ice build up.
I use either Hella or Silverstar Ultra.

Now days it is easy to get replacements that are as good as the ones that came with it in the first place.
They don't cost much now.
Really don't care for led headlights but the taillights are nice.
I replaced one of the rear lights on my granddaughter's car and it is led for a Altima and cost about 80 bucks.
