Kinda like the guy who makes the claim about how big, how many points, and symmetrical the antlers are based on the hoof print. I might get an general idea about the relative stride, weight, and possible activity of an animal. It's at best....a guess.

My question is why didn't the foot prints before them turn into fossils?, what happened to make these particular footprints be turned into fossils instead of being washed away?

Slightly behind the wide set knee prints were two larger knee prints and ten bigger toe prints . Scientist are using mannequin's to try and figure out what they were doing .

Because they ain’t footprints, just what some yahoo that wants you to “follow the science” wants you to believe.
Northern Spain is full of this stuff up in the mountains and along the coast. Some of the oldest and strangest human fossils come from Atapuerca. There is a really good museum down the road in Burgos that houses a lot of the fossils and artifacts.
I would have to see a lot more evidence than that shown to even theorize that those are footprints. I could spend an afternoon on a local creek and come up with "fossils" like that. "Scientists" with little to no experience in the natural world see what they WANT to see.
