i have used Partitions for many years and have always have had good luck with this great bullet and yes the 115 gr. shoots best for me too. but this year i used/tried Berger 25 caliber 115 VLD bullets and this bullet is a little more accurate and kills whitetail bucks very well too. i was given so many Nosler Partition bullets in many calibers its almost hard not to use partitions but being a looney we all try different stuff for fun. > and no my bullets are not for sale for now or while i am alive.

They’re still there if you’re wondering. I ordered 200 of each weight. Should last me a good amount of hunting seasons. 👍

Thanks for the tip off, Tom

They all arrived today. They look great and other than the cannelure they look no different than my regular, first run, Partitions. Hopefully they shoot just as well.

I just love looking at them sitting on the shelf! I shoot the 100g partitions in the custom 257 Weatherby with zero freebore at 3850, never seen a deer take a step to 430 yards....they hammer hard!

Still there at $18.95. They must have had a boat load of those things.

Easy question....

Both... grin

The one that shoots best. With two quarter bores, each rifle may have a different favorite.

JB and some like the 115's, their guns seem to shoot them better..

My Brux barreled 700 LA .257R, likes 120's better than 115's, so that's what I bought.

I got 200, probably should repeat that order.

Ha! Thinking it’s just you & I that are grabbing these gems and that’s why they are still available. I picked up 3 of each as you probably saw in the other thread

Have a great night!

Yeah, pimping these bullets to you guys, sorta got pimped myself... blush

I just got another 200 of the 120's to add to the 200 I got earlier.

Like someone said, they do look good on the shelf and they do have an extended shelf life... grin

Hope got enough powder and primers to fire up that many bullets.

I'm getting a bit low on std. LR primers, have a good quantity of LR Mag primers, so may be using them in mid size cases, too. That's better than no primers. Fortunately, I'm well stocked with most powders I'll need. I think mag primers work well in mid sized cases, may have to adjust powder charge a bit. Or maybe not... I'm not pushing'em to the wall anyway.

Those do look good on the shelf.

I'm good on powder as well. 8lbs of H4895, couple pounds of Hybrid 100V, H and I 4350, some H 4831sc, along with some IMR 7828SSC for the 257WM. I am down to about 900 Fed 215s and about the same in the Fed 210M.

I've been using the Fed 215s with a mild load of 38gn of H-4895 and a Speer 87gn Hot-Cor in the 257 Roberts. Pretty accurate load from both Rugers. The 20" barrel gets 3021fps and the 26" barrel pushes it to 3135. Good easy shooting load from the bench.

JB likes mag primers with ball powder and I've read that from other sources as well.

So, I'll be OK with the mags. May be a while before we can restock anything having to do with reloading components.

Sleepy Joe's mandatory AR buyback proposal could get interesting....

Beto O'Rourke, reportedly his gun control guru, better not show up in my neck of the woods. Wouldn't be prudent as Bush Sr. loved to say.

Just a note - Loaded up several of the 115gr NP with the unique .525 ogive today and found that the cannelure not only matched my Mod 70 FWT in .257 Rob magazine length but also the throat length. (Jam minus .002 was well within the cannelure band)

Others might shrug but I seldom seat to the cannelure and can’t remember when it happened almost by design - even more certain that these were made for a 257 Rob I guess.

Letting some H100V air itself out someday soon.

H-100V is the velocity champ in the Roberts.

Yep! I stole (borrowed) Your & Gunners 47gr H100V load for the 100 ttsx and have also applied it to 100gr Sierra Pro Hunter & 100gr Speer HC. Works great in all three cases.

Yeah, pretty amazing they’re still there. And, I’m sure our crew has bought their share as have I.

Those 180 gr. .30 cal NPT’s went pretty fast as I expected they would.
