I bought the Shield Plus today and have to say I love it. Only put 50 rounds thru it so far but is may shoot a hair better than my old Shield.
The only disappointing thing I have found so far is it came with 1 13 round mag and the other one was a 10 round mag.
Does anybody have a good source for the 13 round magazines?
Why would they put a 10 round mag in a gun that they touted as a high capacity?
Other than that, I am very happy with it.
Thanks

I’ve got an OG Shield and love the little thing and I don’t love autos in general as a revolver guy. This one I’ll never be without. Pretty sweet aren’t they.

I loved my OG Shield but after handling the Plus, I traded my OG.
So far I think I did good.
Hope to put several rounds thru it this coming week

Dang it. Don’t put those thoughts in my head. I know you’re right & yours has got to be smoother than mine by a mile. 😜

After getting my plus, I think I am going to retire a lot of my semi auto pistols. The trigger is great, the grip is great, the sights are the same as my gen 1 and I like the fact I am carrying 14 rounds in that small of a package. Once Magguts get their +2 built then it will be even better. 16 rounds in a lightweight package.

I shot my friend's original Shield and his new Shield Plus, side-by-side with my Hellcat. The Shield Plus was the most comfortable to shoot, of the three, and I shot it better than the others, as well. I like the sights on the Hellcat better, but I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked shooting the Shield Plus.

The Mag Shack lists the Shield plus magazines on their website, but both the 10 and 13-rounders are currently out of stock. I'd use their e-mail notification system, and get on the list.

Ten rounds IS higher capacity than the standard Shield.

Sounds like a multistate ease of distribution approach.
Let the point of sale pull the 13 rounders in Commifornia and swap in a ten, or just deliver only one..

The Shileds have always came with 2 different sized magazines. 7 round and 8 round

A standard length (10rd) and an extended grip length (13 rds) for the Shield Plus

I shot the Shield Plus, Hellcat, and P365XL side by side yesterday. The Hellcat feels better in my hand than the Shield Plus, but the S+ is more comfortable to shoot. The Hellcat is pretty snappy!

This was my first time firing the Sig, but it seems to be the best of both worlds...feels great in the hand, like the Hellcat, and shoots soft like the Shield Plus.

I don't see how a person could go wrong with any of them, to be honest. They are all really nice for their intended purpose.

I really like my 365XL but the grip angle or something is just a bit off for me. When I draw it, my rear sights are just a little below the base of the front sight, about where the base of the sight and the slide meet. I have to break my wrist a little to get the sights lined up. I do not have that trouble with the Shield.
I like shooting both but it takes a hair bit of time to get the sight picture with the 365XL.
