With many powders hard to find, if at all, tell me your experience and what cartridges you like with these powders.

IMR-4166 - Said to be closer to Varget than IMR-4064?

Accurate 2495 - Close to IMR-4064?

Ramshot Big Game - Darling of 7mm-08 shooters? Any others?

Accurate 4350 - Sometimes available, good substitute for H-4350?

IMR-4955 - Slower Enduron powder

Nobel Vectan Tubal 7000, similar to 4350.

VihtaVuori N560, similar to RL-22.

I4166 is giving me accuracy in my 308win. I've played with it very little in other cartridges thus far. Big Game has given me good accuracy in a 22-250 under a 69. I haven't really been able to dial it in yet for my 7-08, and based on all the Rave reviews, and data on here, I thought it would be easy to get a great load for my 7-08. I will admit I'm also a bit frustrated with it as I use a chargemaster, and that powder is literally a bunch of tiny little, bouncing ball bearings. They go everywhere if you don't modify your chargemaster.

Accurate 2495 is supposed to be an IMR 4895 clone, according to my understanding. I've been playing with a jug in a 308. Getting really nice SD numbers under a hornady 168 bthp, but so far accuracy has only been so-so. But, I have been running them hot, 27 hundred something fps out of a 20 inch barrel.

Gonna back off the gas pedal and see if accuracy improves with it and 168 hornadys down around 2550 fps or so.

Haven't tried it with Matchkings yet.

I also got forced into grabbing two eight-pounders of TAC. It’s been one of the best compromises I’ve ever made. Excellent results in my 308.

4451 & Big Game are both very good in my -06 with 165's.

Big Game in the 7-08 is magic.

Anybody tried any of these powders (listed by the OP) in 7x57 reloads? If so I would be interested in hearing your results! I know that Big Game and A4350 provide good results in some 7x57 loads. I haven't worked with any of the others listed.

Thanks! CJ
