rioters are being encouraged by public officials to bring the violence to your neighborhood.

Since we've been passive it appears that 'they' want to bring it to us..........

I guess 'go for it' is about all that I have.........

It could lead to nastiness..

That chit wont happen here, blm/anqueefa tried that chit in OKC last summer, they picked our most liberal city, they got tased, dog bit, pepper sprayed, clubbed and ran out of town by the coppers and citizens, of course you didn't hear about it on the news, same/same at the capitol in LR Arkansas, they were cowed, backed down and left town not without a whimper!

My "wealthy neighborhood" (though no mansions) is in the outer suburb of a big city.

There have been no disturbances here. BLM had one demonstration last Summer, organized by the local Disciples of Christ church, but it was very peaceful. The demonstrators complained there were more cops in riot gear than demonstrators. The central city has also been a lot more peaceful than most. We don't put up with that crap around here.

If worse comes to worse, state law specifically allows citizens to use deadly force against persons trying to destroy property.

I wonder what the law says in places like Minneapolis and Portland.

Probably needs to happen, in order to wake some folks the hell up, and open some eyes.

They tried it up in Yucaipa last year just about 3 miles from where I am.
It did not work out to well for them.
My area is more Redneck than Yucaipa is.
If they come here things will get ramped up real quick.
my area talks with each other and we are pretty much ready for them if they come.

Trying to burn down a house where people are living is attempted murder and justifies use of deadly force in self defense.

They keep burning down the same places for a reason.

If the capitol police can shoot an unarmed woman for trying to enter their property during a protest I guess everyone else can do the same right?
