A few weeks ago I started getting the videos in the right margin of my Ipad screen. I’ve seen others complain about it and most say load adblockr plus. I downloaded it but I’m still getting it. Any suggestions?

Switch to Brave (Browser) and use a search engine like Startpage or Quant

Switch to Brave (Browser) and use a search engine like Startpage or Quant Nope only way to block it from playing is to disable Java Script, this in turn disables everything on here but reading. Adblockers can’t get it unless on a PC where you can pull up block element. The thing is a worm virus, block all the addys for it at my router, worked for about 5 min. Then boom back again. I mostly browse on my phone anymore as that didn’t get hit.

My daughter was getting all sorts of video pop up ads on her PC and I switched her to Brave and Startpage - no more ads. Same on my MacBook Pro.

PC and MacBook Pro are totally different animals from iOS. There are a lot of functions in the toolbar that just aren’t there. Suggest you borrow an iPad use safari, Brave, or any other browser designed for iOS that you’ve used before and I bet you will get a surprise about how many functions aren’t supported. I have, none of them will stop it.

For Brave have "Block Scripts" turned off and "Block Fingerprinting" turned on so forum software functions properly and ad videos won't play.
