Books ordered..

Working on getting a PO box for checks to be mailed to. Probably won't have it until Monday since I have to be there in person to show 2 forms of ID. Can't get a PO box without 2 forms of ID, but they want you to be able to vote without showing any? Sure, THAT makes sense.

So.. I should have an address to mail for y'all to mail checks to on Monday. Should have the books and be set up to start shipping signed books hopefully by 3 weeks from now.

Check back to the web site in a couple days, there's a calendar I'm waiting to get a proof of that I'll be selling as well. Pictures from the Fug collection... I'll enable it for sales once I see a copy. In fact you might want to wait a couple days to buy there and get the calendar with the unsigned book(s) for combined shipping, the calendar should be a treat if the pics printed well.

Web site orders may be slow, printing and shipping likely to take 2-3 weeks.

My wife and I met Rory and his wife at Old Faithfull a few days ago. He showed us one of his prototypes. It looks good and is very informative.

It was a fun talk! I should have kept count of how many times the wives rolled their eyes and said “I have no idea what they’re talking about!”.

They aren't the only ones who roll their eyes at you Rory...........

Saw the calendar, and I think it’s a go for sales.

Each month of this 16 month calendar is a showcase of a checkering or engraving style, with almost all pictures coming from Fug’s collection (a couple pictures of my guns slipped in). The two B checkering styles share a page, the early fleur-de-lis and the later flame style.

So thank Fug for this - and for a lot of the info and pics in the book as well.

It’s available on the web page now so you should be able to combine shipping with unsigned books. I won’t be signing or shipping calendars - signing my name onto Fug’s stuff would be wrong.

Tried to order one and pay via Paypal,but I get a message that says: "the account for the counterparty is locked or inactive" and I cannot complete the order

Aaahh… I don’t have a link to a PayPal account for me set up. Didn’t know that was an option truthfully. Shut down my PayPal account years ago when they started their anti-gun crusade.

Most bank checking accounts include the Zelle service. This is a secure, cost free, electronic transfer.

Y'all should check that out.

Using an online service to provide shopping cart/payment handling. A lot of options, but I don’t see Zelle.

OK so I am an idiot. I COMPLETELY missed the 16 month info.

Sept. 2021 through Dec. 2022.

And I probably wasn't clear before - if you order books or a calendar from the website, the printer will ship directly to you when they print it (5-9 day wait usually, I think). I won't handle it.

When you buy a signed book, it will be a book I've had shipped to my house, and that I will then ship to you.

You need to post that on the website very clearly. Also the number requested which would be dropped at some point.
