I’ve seen 17WSM on the shelves at local places very consistently. In all seriousness, I can’t recall a time, since all this started, that I wouldn’t be able to find it “that day”. I saw some the other day and it was $20.99 for Winchester Varmint HV. I was very tempted to buy a couple boxes so I’d have it when a rifle eventually pops up, but then figured no need to fuel that fire just yet and some 17WSM shooter out there could use it more than me putting it in the safe for “when”.

I’ve actually had decent luck finding 22WMR, too. I managed two boxes for $12.99 each about a month ago. I’ve seen it on other shelves too, but only snag what I’m going to shoot.

My heart says revolver. I have heard that .22lr revolvers are a pain to clean versus autos, but I have never owned a handgun so my experience is limited. That Smith and Wesson looks awesome - just the sort of thing I have in mind.

What are you K 22 and M34 owners using for holster's? I'm not an internet guru but for the life of me I can't find a holster for either of these two. I'll need one for a M48 come Monday as well. Any info is appreciated.

That’s a darned fact. That 17WSM you were talking about sounds cool. I’d like to pick your brain. My little brother wants one.

I’ve got the Ruger and love it. Those are unobtainable right now.

That Bianchi #5BL is the same one that I use on my 4" M34-1. I really like that security strap over the hammer and cylinder.

My other auto is a .45

+1 on that !!!

Latest for me is a Ruger Mark III Hunter. I'm going to the LGS to do the paperwork now.

It's about the last thing I "need", but I "want" it.

The K22's are K Frame Smiths so any holster that will fit a K frame S&W will work. I got lucky when I bought my K22 and it came in a nice leather holster....

Mine too but my bolt will be on the port side. I've had my order placed for a few months.

Just acquired a Savage Model 93 FSS in 22 WMR. Couldn't be happier. Mounted a Nikon 2-7x32 scope, and proceeded to shoot decent groups @ 50 yards right out of the box. Can't wait to see how it tightens up after getting a few settle down rounds down the tube. Good price and light as a feather. would do it again.

My next one is a 100+ year old Stevens 44. It's on its way here.
