Had my first radiation treatment today. Oncologist said, "I'm not interested in treating your cancer, I want to kill the thing!" I like your Oncologists Attitude, Kick it's ass Rug! I am in treatment ( Immunotherapy) also, Rug , prayers for you and your success. When a doctor mutters words like malignant and such, It changes your whole existence I remember the look on my wife's face, It becomes a fight, A fight you damn well know you have to win! You both have many here who are rooting for you. Kick Cancers ass Boys!!

I did 30 days in the neck. Day 12 I started to feel weak. Day 15 I was beat up. Day 25 and I did not think I could do 30. My wife cried. I did 30 but it was pretty tough. I could not lift a gallon of milk. So it really snuck up on me, but the radiation crew knew the patch. Listen to them.
Try to eat high quality stuff and protein drinks. Rest all the time. Prayers for you sir. You will kick ass, you have no choice.

Guys, Dr. Martin Gallegher in Jeanette Pennsylvania might be able to answer any questions you may have. https://www.medicalwellnessassociates.com He's an integrative physician who has helped the outcomes of those who were treated with chemo and radiation. He will likely recommend some things to support your health while going through the ordeal, etc. He will provide you with a mini consult this Saturday between 9:15 - 10:30 AM if you want one and get through. It's better to call early as you'll have more time devoted to your question.. Call this number and record the call since he will go rapidly it might be hard to listen and take accurate notes .
