If one looks long enough and hard enough many Savage connections can be found.
Richard Baker was a life long firearms enthusiast, design engineer for Colt, High Standard, Smith & Wesson and rubbed elbows with Louie Elkas of Savage during the 1960's - 1990's.
His passion began as a little boy with a Savage rifle.
I acquired Mr. Baker's signed copy of James Carr's book recently.
The signed date is interesting, but, more than that is the respect these gentlemen had for one another.

Nice picture, look's like he had to 'grow into' that gun! Looks like a model 23-A with the second type trigger guard sporting a Mossberg scope in a No 9 Mossberg mount. I think he would have been better off starting with a Model 1904.

My grandparents had a wagon very similar to that one that they used to tow me around in when I was even a younger boy than the one pictured. It was green, that's all I've got.

I do not know what became of that wagon, but I remember it well and wish I had it.

the wagon looks like a roadmaster, and the trike looks like a Montgomery Ward.

Hopefully you won't have too stiff a competition if you are going for it.

Roadmaster -ya gotta love a wagon with a name like that! Mine, or actually my brother's, was a Rex Jet.
