Has anyone been a part of something like this in their life? Sometimes I reminisce I wonder if given the real life choice of me or my brothers what would I do?
I feel certain I would take the path less traveled .....

If you mean to risk one's life to save others, then yes I have. Probably a hundred times or so. Not always successful, but more times than not my brothers came out ahead. I am not alone in this. Many others here on the board have done the same.

I guess if you are here and can answer the question, then the answer is no or not yet..... I have 'risked' my life for others, and COULD have died in the process, but I have not yet laid down my life for another!
