For the Bisley, $1150 is rather spendy, BUT you will find it is worth every dollar!

It is likely a 4.62" or a 6.5".

GET it!

Ouch on the $1150 price tag - when these came out, a little under $800 was what they were selling for. But then, I wanted one bad enough I'd of paid more. Guys have been spending considerably more converting 6 shot Bisleys to 5 shot for a long time...

Irrelevant since I didn't buy either to shoot cast. If I wanted to shoot cast I'd have bought a .45 Colt.

As a side note, when someone says "no offense, but" what I hear is "I'm going to be offensive but you're not allowed to get mad at me for being a dick." Is that what you really intended to convey? Just curious.

Tom

What exactly is the problem with cast bullets in a 480?

I got banned on another web site for a debate that happened on this site. That's a first

I've shot nothing but cast bullets in revolvers for many years, from 38 Spl to 480. I can't imagine shooting anything else in revolvers except for maybe a 357 in a carry/defense role. When I first started shooting/loading it was different - mostly jacketed then. Different strokes, I guess - everyone has their preferences...

Let us know how it turns out. Be Well, RZ.
