Hi guys. This weekend, wife and i got into it...... with all the shutdowns and lockdowns and assorted nonsense, the only change in my lifestyle is that sporting clay courses and clay venues are closed to non members.... and restaurants are mostly closed. Was never much of a vacationer or mall shopper. Her..... well, these days have been harder on her. Alot of her joys have been denied her. I spent the weekend at a family property moving stands and running around the woods all alone. Came home to hear all about it..... tempers are short. It'll all blow over, but the incidents are increasing. Anyhow, i can't be alone in this situation, can I? Mid 40s and 2 boys 13 and 9 for reference. How are all your relationships holding up? You obviously need-to give her a good rogerin' .... that'll fix everything. Be sure to pull her hair and spank her bottom in the process ... teller she's a bad girl. She's just craving attention. Oh, and wait until she hits menopause. Be prepared for 5+ years of hell. You think this Covid lockdown stuff was/is trying on your relationship ... you ain't seen nothin' yet.
What you think about, you do ... what you do, you become. In a nation where anything goes ... eventually, everything will. We're almost there.

I can honestly say my marriage has never been better. Wife stayed home to home school the kids anyway. Covid canceled a lot of the non essential bs running around we did before. We eat together as a family every night, movie night with kids once a week. The kids are closer to each other as they are home more. We have a few other family’s in same position that we get together with a few times a month.
Saving more money, house/ hunny-do list caught up. Way less stress for me.

No worries here. Wifey and I have our own business, deemed essential, and we stay out of each other's way for the most part at work. We don't wear masks at work, and damn sure don't wear them anywhere else, unless we absolutely have to. Places like the Dr. office etc. I avoid the Nazi stores like Costco that enforce the mask wearing per corporate policy, and our local Publix and Kroger stores don't enforce the mask "request". Its good to see smiling faces instead of a bunch of people wearing diapers...........

There has no change in our lifestyle, other than not being able to comfortably travel out of state to see my family! We still leave the house every week or two and go to Walmart 2 to 4 times a year! memtb

Been high stress around here for over 35 years, this ain't nothing. Canada sucks, we miss traveling up there and my wife hasn't seen some of her family for over a year. Lol...as a cop who has been married to his first wife for 35 years, I get lots of questions from the young guys. I just tell them to be prepared to be more miserable than they can ever imagine for 20 years, then it improves from there.

She is a great person, we were both easily angered, hold grudges, not good!! I had to get away from her. She has been married 40 years to a Saint, he puts up with her BS

My life, as I live it never changed with Covid one way or the other.
A few times I'd liked to have eaten out and the restaurants were closed, and a couple of times, I was asked to wear a mask in retail places.
But other than those minor things, I had absolutely no change.

Some areas are pretty eat up with it , and some peoples employers are hard asses about masks and such , sometimes it is the supervisors B.S. the company I worked for shouted from the rooftops about distanting and mask , but like a lot of rules they weren’t enforced . The corporate level people always gave big speeches and kudos to us for such an outstanding job of compliance on the phone safety briefings . We just grinned and went about the day . A few stores , mostly NOVA area , required them stringently. Been hospitalized , that really opened mine and some family’s eyes to the B.S. about the ER’s being overrun and the personnel’s attitude toward it . I suppose it or something is fugging people up , but at least in our area it seems to be over emphasized. Wife and I are getting along fine , but in a heavily restricted area and a couple that possibly has problems about sharing concerns and working on some relief time , I can see it might be a problem . Good luck and work on understanding each other’s concerns and things you could do together . Kenneth

No, I think it has been better. We got married because we love each other and this last year we have spent more time together, it has been great from that standpoint.

Hasn't really affected us much. I gotta wear a mask at work and finally management has back off on me if I'm not wearing it correctly. Gotta wear one walking Into the arena for my daughter's hockey games and practice. Otherwise we don't wear them.
The lockdowns sucked for food and stuff like that.
Sometimes it was more frustration in our house. Especially with a 10 year old.
Helps being in a small town where most everyone ignores the mask thing. Even the sheriff's don't wear them.

My wife was off work most of last year but still being paid. We got to spend more time together last year than any time since we married. It has been great.

If it wasn't for the fact ole gretch wants to get reelected, she would have us all in chains.
Luckily our daughter still stayed in school so that made this shidt easier

walked back authorizing police stops What ? Yeah.... we had another 'lockdown' province wide.... they callit an "emergency brake". They gave police authority to arbitrarily stop citizens and ask if our business in public was essential or not. Most police services said they wouldn't comply so they walked that back.... on top of s couple other minor things.

It's hard to imagine what you guys having to wear masks are going through. It's been a social experiment to see how much of our personal liberties they could take and what the response would be. The next one will be worse.
