Bork,50% beef,50%pork and a can of Weber gourmet burger seasoning. 1 whole can to 10 lbs of meat. Makes a good burger. Grill them, add nothing

Family-run greasy spoon near here used to make burgers like that and served them with fried onions. Real simple and always lined up out the door for 50 years.
About 10 years ago the family closed it up. Guess no one wanted to take it over. A couple years later someone opened up the place again but it just wasn’t the same. Lasted about 2 years.

Interesting, but I'd have to look at the Weber stuff ingredients. Might be able to make my own seasonings.

I have done venison burgers, 8 lbs and 2 lbs of beef fat with blazin burger but I haven’t seen it on the shelf for a while . Maybe Weber stopped making it.

I actually made this batch with chuck roast and pork loin. Loin and chuck had a good bit of fat. Kroger had roast for 3.49 lb and pork loin for 1.99. Good burger has gotten pricey so I buy chuck roast just to grind if I can find it cheap.
