Debating getting a pair of Lowa tibets vs crispi nevadas. Any help here gentlemen?

Context? We do large scale deer drives in WV. Sheep hunt support isn’t necessary. Looking for a comfortable, uninsulated, quality boot for this year. Settled on those two but can’t decide.

I’m a big crispi fan.

If you don't need goretex,, a pair of the Lowa Tibet leather lined would be heavenly.

Don’t overlook the Lowa Ranger for your needs. Not quite as stiff as the Tibet. The Nevada is not as stiff as well. The Crispi boots have to big of heel to fit me correctly. I also don’t like boots with a rocker as I have a worn out knee.

I really like the Lowa's, have only looked at the Crispi. Whichever fits better, if you can't try on in person order both and wear them around indoors.

I think both are more boot than you need unless your area is really steep. A more conventional boot would work fine and could be a lot lighter in weight. I would look at the Lowa: Renegade, Nevada and Ranger as above. These are more like hiking/back packing boots. The Tibets are more like alpine climbing boots, they can even be used with hinged crampons. As you wrote this is ideal for sheep and goat hunters but maybe not for less demanding situations.

Crispi - for my foot. I'd suggest buying all versions you are interested in, pay the shipping, try them all on in the house, walk around the house for a couple weeks, send back the ones that don't work. I do this type of thing on many high end sporting goods. I call the extra shipping my "R&D". I'd also say, I'm up front with the people I buy from on what I'm doing. I've yet to have anyone discourage my buying/returning. I have at times kept multiple of something - thats how I ended up with 3 pairs of Crispis.............

Both are outstanding. I’ve found the Crispi stiffer but that’s just me. Buy both - wiggle your toes & go with the loosest one. My .02

@DBoston nailed it - I’ve been thru 4 pairs of Lowa Denali but used them almost always in backpack/backcountry trips. For a more casual day hunt both Crispi & Lowa Denali might be so stiff that they are uncomfortable. The Lowa Renegade is also an outstanding boot for lighter hunts - I wear them almost daily when I’m not wearing Red Wings.

Skip on both and get the Kenetrek safari boots. Just superb in every aspect.

These Kenetrk look good, I would get a pair if I didn't already have a closet full of good boots. These lighter boots like these and the Meindel Perfeckt (The Real Ones Not Cabela's) are just about ideal all rounders.

The Kenetrek look good but with a 5mm midsole are going to be as stiff as the Lowa Tibet. The Ranger is 5/3 and offer some flex at the ball.

Gene I ended up ordering a pair of the Monaco’s and Nevada’s.

I have both the Tibets and Crispi Summits, for your needs I'd vote Summit.

I have Crispi Wyoming, and mindless Glockner’s. I use the crispis more frequently as they are lighter, but the glockners come in handy on steep sidehills. It’s nice to have both.
