I might buy a Sig 365 this weekend Do yourself a favor and also look at the 365XL. Buy whichever suits your needs. I have both, both good guns. If I had bought the 365XL first , I wouldn't of had bought the 365.The seamless 12 round grip and slightly longer sight radius was a plus for me. The 365 is a fine pistol also, kept that one also. That is an excellent design. I don't have one, but it's very well thought out. What do you think of the trigger. The only shop around here that's had one in stock, had a trigger block that wouldn't allow a proper grip, no less a trigger pull. Policy is that they won't remove it for customers.

It has a better than average trigger for a striker fired pistol. I carried a 1911 for years, still think that is what all other triggers are measured by. I like the smaller frame pistol now and tend to carry ALL the time now, 365XL fits that bill better for me. I have really grown to like the straight trigger blade without that goofy hinged piece that is popular with other brands.

A friend of mine was a Milwaukee Cop.He carried a Baby Browning 25ACP in ankle holster off duty.He was sitting in a bar when he was off duty and 3 guys came in to rob the place carrying 38 specials. He drew his gun and shot them all. They killed him and walked away .They were never caught and his name is on the Memorial Wall now as killed on duty.If he had a 380 or nine ,things could have been different. Or maybe if he had just stayed in his seat and remembered that at .25 ACP is not for gunfights but for last ditch arm's length transactions. No question in my mind there is offensive and defensive handguns. My Smith J frame and sig 232 and LCP fall into the defensive category. My sig 229 falls into the offense category. Hasbeen An offensive handgun is called a rifle. If you're smart, there are a bunch of you. With rifles.

Any Hellcat fans? Looked at a used one yesterday. Awhile back, I was in BPS and had a guy behind the gun counter showing me some stuff. I said I wanted to look at that Hellcat and he said he couldn't see one. Other guy was helping some dude fill out the paperwork. He'd just bought it. I looked at one in Scheel's yesterday. They look very good. I haven't heard anything negative about them. The gun like that which would really be on my radar would be the Shield Plus. There are several good ones though.

This man; https://murderpedia.org/male.D/d/devoe-paul.htmMurdered an old hunting pard I had known since he was about 12. A single round from a POS Italian .380 auto. Mike was a big kid, former army, and an experienced bouncer. He was moonlighting at the bar in Marble. Only reason he tried to disarm the assailant was (a) the auto jammed when the assailant tried to chamber a round and (b) assailant was attempting to execute a former girlfriend in the establishment. He already had auto to her head and under restraint when he discovered the chamber was empty. Anyway he cleared the auto and put a single round in Michael’s chest in the melee. Assailant went from there to another ex-girlfriends house and executed her, her then boyfriend, her teenage daughter, and a friend of the daughter who was there for a sleepover. A bad scene all the way around. Bob, your story reminded me of two of my friends who got into a fight with a couple of Mexicans in a bar parking lot back in 1981 when we were all attending Jr College. One Mexican pulled a Raven 25 and shot them both in the chest at point blank range. One survived and one died in the ambulance enroute to the hospital. My point being that both tragic deaths of our friends prove a small pocket gun can and will kill you with proper shot placement. Another words if the bad guy gets off a lucky shot. I’ve carried a Ruger LCP 380 loaded with Speer Gold Dots in my left front pocket as a BUG for years. But I’ve always got either a 1911 in 45 acp or my Glock 32 in 357 Sig caliber on my hip as a primary weapon. And since I got my Sig P365 9mm, in the summertime, if I’m wearing my Carhartt work shorts, I’ve found it easily fits in my front pocket with a Uncle Mike’s pocket holster.

Not that I'm aware of. The only two versions are black or silver. I think the silver one has a stainless cylinder. Otherwise, the only difference is color. The M&Pc is black stainless.

Previous to this it was a sp101 357 mag with two 6 round speed strips.

Fellows I know, who have extensive time in the ER, say wounds from the 25, and the 22 kill more folks than anything else. However, instantaneous stops are a bit more rare - although common.

Seemed like the one I had had a longer barrel. But that was several years ago. Gave mine to my nephew as he really liked it.

They seem to work, however! One of those fellers told me of a 'groid who pi--ed his "girlfriend" off - she took him out with a couple of blows to the temples - with 4" spike heels! Fatal.
