Lots of great fishing down there and an inshore trip for trout and reds is always fun.

The women folks like to go back up the road to the large Mall in Foley.

Watch your speed in Robertsdale.

Eat ,drink on the beach, watch people make idiots of themselves, Everywhere serves basically the same foods at high prices. Some are better then others. Papa Rocco’s Italian is pretty good! GTS’s is pretty good eating with a variety of foods, and Lamberts is probably the best home of the tossing rolls! I agree with Big Dave the original oyster house for the best seafood. If you never been, take one of the better dolphin cruises in the afternoon absolutely stunning. If your 50 stay on the beach not a 3 or 5 minute walk it will kill you dragging all of the stuff your ole lady and kids will want to bring.

Last time down there I watched two guys pack their lightweight catamaran sail boat down to the beach, they went back to get their ice chest and while they were gone the wind took that catamaran off of the beach and out to sea and it was hauling ass straight out.

They had to go down where jet skis were rented and pay 2 guys to fetch their boat back to the beach.

Florabama and the pier. It costs a few bucks to go out on the pier but it is worth it. We saw all kinds of fish, stingrays, turtle, sharks in the water below.
