That’s pretty funny but the party faithful are not the ones who elect that worthless douche. Wrong! Don't confuse party faithful with ideology or idiocy. Party faithful vote straight ticket in generals. They primary vote for whoever the party supports or the incumbant. The old saw is 40% on each side are faithful. The 20% middle are the deciders. Those 80% are the problem. The R's support weak R's. And too dam many older D's are too faithful to vote Republican so they either mindlessly vote or stay home. (Partly how Trump won. Many wouldn't support the She Devil) I think he wrote it wrong but you both agree. The people who go to the convention are not the ones who elect people. They are too few in number.

Romney would not have been booed in that crowd in ‘18. Romney is a political zombie. His career and name are finished. Looking at the crowd there were plenty booing but there were also plenty just sitting neither clapping or booing. Those were the iMormon f you don’t have anything nice to say then say nothing crowd. Looked to me 3/4 of the crowd was either openly hostile or just simply sitting quietly. That’s a sitting Republican senator who was just a couple of years ago the prodigal Mormon son of Utah trying to give a speech to the Republican base. That’s about as bad as it gets. He deserves to be hung from his neck until dead but this is a heartwarming step in the right direction.

I can't believe the number of people in Utah that fell for that douche nozzle McMullin's line of BS. He was an ex CIA swamp Rhino who's only purpose was to spoil the LDS vote for Trump. Many of us Idaho Mormons spotted him right away and knew what he was up to. Many in Utah didn't see it until it was too late. Utah is a different culture even to me and I've lived there a few times. Many people there could name every player on the Jazz for the last 20 years or every contestant ever on The Bachelor but couldn't tell you who their current governor is. It's just not polite to talk about politics there and if you do Many people feel threatened. I did not fit in well because I have strong political opinions. Although I should add this disclaimer that I'm generalizing too much and did know some awesome people there with a good grasp on political things. Bb
