It's looking like I may have to buy the pistol I've been wanting from the lower 48 and have it shipped here, I will need to use an FFL to make it happen so who do you guys recommend?
That's ok, I'll ass shoot a dink.

I'm not an Alaskan, but Gunbroker has a list of transfer dealers which is searchable by zip code. Just click on the heading BUY and then go down to Tools for Buyers to find this feature. Of course thousands more options are not registered with GB, but this is often a good place to start. It also usually tells what each listed dealer charges, which can help decide which one to choose.

I just checked and GB lists more than a dozen transfer dealers within 15 miles of your location. I apologize if you only wanted a personal recommendation, as I cannot give that. Best wishes.

Arctic ammo off Palmer-wasilla. Charge $10 bucks to do the transfer. I think gun cache in eagle river is fairly cheap as well.. Also 3 bears in chugiak will do the transfer as well (well last I heard they did)

Then STFU. The rest of your statement is superflous bullshit with no real bearing on this discussion other than to massage your own ego. Suckin' on my titties like you wanted me.

No worries, I just want someone that's convenient and hassle free.

Brad at Eagle River gun cache is close and meets all those criteria. Arctic Ammo is further away, but cheaper.

When we lived in Eagle River I used Boondocks and Tim Shaw many times. Check to see if Tim is still in business.

I'm having a helluva time finding a SA XDM 10mm with the 5" barrel.

I'm having a helluva time finding a SA XDM 10mm with the 5" barrel. We asked about those last time we were in the store. He just laughed. Those are pretty much unobtanium right now. Springfield isn't making them at the moment. As another dealer told Dan, "it's on the shelf right between the fairy dust and the unicorn tears.
