Can anyone point to exactly where this guy and his little gun failed to handle the situation? Most folks do not want to be shot. Yep. None were injured or robbed of their money or dinner. AFAIC the guy is a winner.

That is the next step in the progression. One of the groid LM-ers will go past the PNT and someone will lawfully, and with great prejudice, dump his brains all over the sidewalk. Then it will be on.

A 22lr can kill a 600 pd hog more better than one thinks a 22 mag is better While not exactly the best choice for a self defense gun, I wouldn't want to get shot by one. I've seen too many hogs and cattle that were being slaughtered killed by a 22 bullet between the eyes. The alligator hunters seem to use a lot of them as well. It would be better than nothing, if needed.

High speed .22LR hollow point can ruin your day, in the right spot you are DRT. Far better than the .45 you left in the truck because it's too big and heavy to carry . Point!!

No one knows what actually transpired and why the pistol was brandished. My thinking is, he's lucky that he wasn't shot in self-defense. You have to give the guy credit, he has balls.

I was hoping someone would pull out the belt-fed and really solve problems, but this guy got the minimum done just fine.

A jar with a harmless rat snake or garter snake in it will cause them to lose their scheet too.[/quote]
I can attest to this. I once cleared most of a barracks with a four foot indigo snake. I swear, there were guys who went out through the windows! There seemed to be little distinction regarding race or rank. The company commander, a white captain with a Ranger patch on his shoulder, Closed himself in his office and locked the door. GD

It's really no big trick to hit an eye socket-sized target at 10 or 15 feet with one of those mini revolvers.

First of all, even Fox attorneys say it is an entertainment station not “news. Second, had I been there, and that guy had brandished that gun, I would have told him once to put it away and if he hesitated, would have dropped him. Third, I live fifty miles away and this never made local news. IMHO, Fox making something out of nothing. Entertainment not news. The only thing you would have “dropped” is the lunch special... It would go down like a sweet muffin.

I'm not so much "opposed" to it being a .22. I'm not really "opposed" to the guy's gun choice at all, just thinkin' it ain't a great choice because it's a teensy, tiny, hard-to-manipulate, forget-about-reloading, single action. Good points, of course.

I agree, carrying a weapon like that is not a win the war strategy, it’s more of a flip the odds back into your favor when your aggressor lease expects it strategy..... I’m pretty sure that powder burns on the forehead could absolutely ruin anyones day.

The top handgun instructor for the Navy Seals, carry's one of the small pistols like that, in his back pocket, you would be amazed what he can do with it. Rio7

Not my first or even 5th choice, but in this case it served its purpose.

The Dockers with gravy stains on them should have been a warning sign to the Commies. This old guy clearly doesn't give a fucqk about much of anything.

Was foolish to brandish it, but, Those making fun of the tiny gun must not have used one much The loud pop out of that short barrel might disperse that crowd.
