I recently acquired a 541T and have shot it a bit but so far haven't found a load it really likes. I know ammo is in short supply but can anyone recommend some loads that are typically quite accurate? I have no intentions of entering any competitions and would prefer copper jacketed Hollow points. So far I have tried Federal Champion value pack, CCI Stinger, CCI Mini Mag (solid point), Federal Lighting and Remington Thunderbolt. Best accuracy so far is with the Mini Mag which averaged 0.7 inch at 50 yards for 3 groups of 5 shots.

Best accuracy will be with subsonic. Copper jackets aren't much use as the bullet of an accurate load will lay down the lube it comes with. Subsonic hollow points hit hard for a rimfire if you don't need penetration.

No rec. on which to get. Winchester and Fiocchi hit hardest. If they are available and will shoot, go for it.

That’s pretty flippin’ good. Mine shot groups like that with Federal Auto-Match.

Lapua Midas+ and don’t look back.

A cheap one that does well is CCI standard (not high) velocity 22.

It's been a while since I shot my 541's, but recall that Federal Gold Medal Match stood out from the others I've tried...

Edit to add - found an old pic (5 shots at 50 yds):

Shoot decent ammo in the 541T and you'll usually get decent results. Mine dotes on Federal Gold Medal Match, SK Standard Plus, and Eley Contact. I'm too cheap to buy the expensive stuff since I don't compete...

Remember to shoot enough fouling rounds when changing ammo types and manufacturers while testing so the barrel will shoot its best groups . My rifles usually take from 5-15 rounds to season the barrel between ammo types before shooting for groups

/Back in the day...twenty five years ago,.I had a 541T, Kimber, Winchester 52B Sporter, Ruger 10/22 and Ruger 77/22 I shot Winchester, Remington, Federal, CCI, Eley, Wolf, of various "flavors" and believe it or not, the best O/A accurate rifle was with the off the shelf Ruger 10/22. And the weird thing (In the 10/22) the most accurate was CCI Stingers. Go figure...

It seemed to be a toss-up as to which ammunition the other rifles shot well. As I recall, Winchester LR, standard velocity was the most accurate.

Finding an accurate .22 round is often quite frustrating. Seems .22 rifles have a mind of their own as to which brand ammunition they prefer

Good luck

Back in the 90s I bought quite a bit of American Eagle HP that my 541T really liked. I sold the rifle 8 or 10 years ago. My records indicate that it didn't much care for the AE ammo made in later years.

It also liked Federal Automatch. Wolf Match Target and Eley Target Rifle shot well also, and it seems that the best ammo for it was Wolf Match Target. I never tried any SK in it.

Yep.
Don't be afraid to put the Lapua X-Act or Midas and the Eley Tenex through it to find out what it is really capable of. You could even send it to the Lapua Service Center to get a Lot# tailored to the gun. https://www.lapua.com/resources/test-shooting/

There are several. SK Standard Plus, RWS subsonic, RWS Target, Norma Subsonic, Norma Tac 22, and Norma Match.
Wolf MT, is always good. Any ammo running around 1045 FPS should do quite well in your 541T.

SK in different flavors is good to try. My CZ Varmint loves it. My 513T does well with them too. As mentioned CCI std vel is a good cheaper round.

Rufous: I own, shoot and Hunt small game and Varmints with two Remington 541-T's.
So I am interested in both accuracy and lethality in my ammo.
I use the wonderful Winchester 40 grain Power-Point hollow-points in BOTH my Remington 541-T's!
I see you come from the Vale, Oregon area and I used to varmint Hunt around there - so if your interests also include small game and Varmints then I highly recommend the Winchester 40 grain Power-Points.
You touch on a great point in todays ammo shortages - those seeking different 22 munitions to try are in a difficult situation!
Best of luck with your Remington 541-T. It is truly a FINE Rifle capable of excellent accuracy and possessing fine triggers and great looks and balance - only misgivings I have with them is the savage like chincey magazines.

my 521T Junior Special is not really picky, buy it seems to do best with standard velocity ammo. I have killed a truck load of squirrels, rabbits and crows with it

RWS both HV and sub Eley both HV and sub,and SK/lapua in both HV and sub,, wolf is excellent as well and has been suggested dont clean the barrel till you put it up for the winter,,itll take 15-20 shots to re lube after cleaning and groups to tighten up again,, IF you can find fiocchi subsonic does well and hits squirrel heads like the hammer of thor, gemtech shoots well too,,
