Is the bolt handle bent straight down, perpendicular to the axis of the bolt body. Or is the bolt swept back (or slightly rearward curved)? Also, is there a data stamped on the barrel? If so, what is the date?
Thanks

Yes, the bolt is straight down NOT bent back. The barrel says "SA with a flaming bomb under it and then 1-42".

It's a mish mosh of parts. Probably a WW II "guard rifle" built from low # receivers and whatever parts they could find. It is a "swept bolt", not original to the action. If it has a perfect bore, the barrel is a good item. 03A3 guard good for restoration. many useful small parts. Straight bolt 03'

Is the stock still in original configurations. Sorry hard to tell on my computer since this site fills my D^*& screen full of pop ads.

I put several pictures of the stock in the ad so you see exactly what you are getting.

I have a old 1903A3 sporter stock collecting dust. Not to hi jack but does anyone know if a 1903 action will drop in a 1930A3 stock? Thanks

Is the bore a sewer pipe? If I tell you Yes and it isn't terrible then you would be pleasantly surprised.

My guess is that the bore is likely rough. I ran a patch through it but not a brush.
