My father-in-law liked that.

Anyone else?

Chocolate milk yes. Regular uh no.

I seen people put ketchup on cottage cheese before not since I was a kid though. Eggs as well.

Almanzo Wildass said that you could put a glass of popcorn into a glass of milk without the glass overflowing.

Bet you can't eat 5 saltines and then whistle within a minute. No drinks allowed.

Then there was the bartender that would stand on his head, and drink a case of bottled beer, pulling the caps off with his teeth.

On a bet.

Smokehouse almonds and thin sliced sopressata, washed down with gin & tonic. That's snack time while the charcoal gets hot and food prep is being done.

My grandfather ate popcorn and milk, nearly every Sunday night, sometimes with a grilled peanut butter and dill pickle sandwich. He was born in 1920. I suspect it was a product of being a depression era farm boy.

I used to eat buttered popcorn and grated parm cheese. That was good with milk. Like popcorn Alfredo. Pretty much gave that kind of snacking up.

My Dad was the oldest of nine kids. I never saw him eat popcorn until I was out of college. One day Mom explained why - Family was short on money during the Great Depression. Dad and the next 2 boys went out and picked up fallen ears of popcorn after the farmer harvested his field (with permission). Then they took the kernels off the cob and there were many, many days they had popcorn for all their meals. Sometimes with warm water and sugar, if they had any sugar. Mom never said anything about milk. Guess I can't fault him for for his bad popcorn memories, though. I've not eaten popcorn that way . . .

I'm talking about popcorn in a bowl, with milk poured on like breakfast cereal.
