Bunch of low-down bastids, shame on you all.

Mine is passed on, but here’s to you and yours and to their memory.

My mom passed 19 years ago, my wife is out of town visiting family, so I'm taking my daughter who is a mom shooting her new gun today. It was her idea so that's not all bad.

Both my Mom and my Step-Mom are gone and my wife is being kinda crabby today. I think I'm going to work on my boat and then fire up the mower for the first time this spring. Basically, stay outdoors and away from the drama.

Got home last night from a week of Salmon fishing in Maine. My sons were supposed to make reservations and blew it off. I ended up saving the day and paid for dinner for all of us at a different restaurant. My mom passed 14 years ago and dad in January. Wife is happy with flowers for the garden. I will call it a win.

Remembering mine today, thank you.

Wondering too if I’ll make it to the day to see my only daughter become one.

My mother died on Christmas Eve of 2019. She had some demons and she never constructively dealt with them, so they went into the cellar of her soul and lifted weights. She was often mean and vindictive. She was that way my whole life. But I still loved her. And I miss her. But despite it all, I am remorseful that I wasn’t a better son. Remembering her makes me sad.

Mine was no angel, by far. Told myself many times when I was a kid I’d never forgive. Guess I have, kinda.

my mom died in 99. we used to go to her favorite restaurant, Slicks Ivy Stone every year for mday and pig out on their buffet. hit the ice cream joint on the way home and then take a nice long ride in the hills before going home. i can still see her sitting there in the front seat of my f150 that i had to help her get up into. lol. she was small.

did a nice brisket on the WSM today with baked beans and cucumber/onion salad. my crew ate til we were stuffed, about 6 lbs worth. daughter made a pie for dessert and the boys and her got my wife a nice boquet and a gift card for her favorite restaurant that she goes to with her gal pals.

it was a good day even if its 40 and pouring down rain all day.
