I have never received Lapua bullets packaged this way. It might be because they are FMJs. They came in a large plastic bag with the plastic zip lock top. 1000 loose bullets rattling around in a big box, the length of a shoe box, but only 2 inches high. Probably how the boxed bullets are packaged,

I’ve never purchased Lapua bullets. I couldn’t say if this is new packaging for them or not. Closest comparable in quality bullets I’ve purchased were the Norma 9.3mm 232 grain Vulkan bullets for a 9.3x57. They came in a small plastic container.

I have only seen Lapua bullets packaged in appropriately sized blu and white boxes. I suspect that like a lot of bullet companies, their bulk bullets are put in bigger boxes and sold to some stores to re-package.

I have 1000 6.5 123 grain which are packaged just that way. Also some 155 and 168 30 calibres. GD

I guess Lapua doesn't worry about these bullets banging into each other in transit. I don't think their fmj line is top of the heap.
The S374 123 gr 308s shoot well enough though.

Mine are Scenars. Plainly, they don't worry about them either. GD

That's surprising. I shot better scores with Lapua, packaged in blue and white cardboard boxes. I tried Sierras as well. Both were packaged the same, that is, in the proper sized boxes. They couldn't rattle around that much. This loose plastic bag idea may not be conducive to accuracy.
I just got a box of 500 69 gr. Sierra MK. They were well packed.
