I tried to watch Shooter on Netflix tonight. Made it to about the one minute mark in the first episode.
Gave up when the hero started lecturing hunters about how 55 grain 223 is only good for squirrels.
Agreed. It sucks. Do t waste your time on this one.

Hollyweird has gotten so smitten with SJW crap and artistic license, they destroy decent movie plots with it.
If you believe this person as a SEAL team Lt Commander, you'll believe anything.. including that it defeated a Russian Special Forces operator in HTH combat with a knife.
You will also need to believe that a "sniper" rifle has the report of a 75mm howitzer.
However, an underlying theme does hold water. That embedded slimes within govt and industry want war for profit and will faithfully disregard the human impact.

If you want something different try Baraka on Prime. It is a feast for the senses w/ no dialogue at all. Spectacular cinematography filmed in 70mm around the world w/ lots of time lapse and aerial/drone use. Subject matter is everything from nature to massive scale manufacturing, religious rites and rituals and various human activities around the globe.
The sound track is worthy of a good stereo and varies from live natural sound to eclectic music.
Sit back w/ your favorite relaxing treat and enjoy something of genuine quality.

On Prime Three Days in the Life of Lt. Kravtsov was pretty good. It's about a newly minted Lt. in the Red Army going to the front after being told by a mathematician that his life expectancy was only 3 days. Russian with English subtitles.
Just watched The Mitchels vs. The Machines on Netflix. One of the best family movies we've watched in years. Very fast paced, animated movie with a great message. A+

The Serpent on Netflix is moderately entertaining. It’s based on a true story of a Half Indian half Vietnamese French national who killed hippy kids in Southeast Asia in the 1970s then stole their money passports and money and traveled the world selling gems and killing more people.
It’s a pretty interesting period piece and it is an interesting look back at what might have been the high point of western civilization. At one point he and his girlfriend drove from Paris to India. No way you could do that now. But back then the roads were there and it was safe enough that you could do it.
