Interesting.

I trot both ways to a degree. Most are trotting along at sedate velocity, but a few get enthused. I don't powder coat.




Sometime back I was plinkin' with one of my plinkers that does the .38-55 thing. Offhand at 100 it's probably not precise enough for ear piercings.


OTOH, it looks like it has some class, so maybe it's OK?

Hmm, seems like way back when I heard of some dropping from the mold into a bucket of water.. I may have even tried it. Does this process destroy accuracy?

Besides a .45-70 and a .444 I have a nice .375 Winchester.. So no wheelwrights for you, eh ?

I use WW to create some jewelry alloys on occasion, but also fiddle with tin. Sometimes I just use some lino blended with a lot of lead. Depends on the essence of distilled thoughts, objectives and such oddities. Hard ain’t always your friend in this game, nosiree. Fit, peak pressure and lube are relevant. Most jewelry alloys are sensitive to RPM too. Then there’s Lord Black. No tolerance of “hard” whatsoever. It’s important when trying to pierce ears.
