I was at the local fun store over the weekend and I happened upon this Winchester Model 70 Extreme Weather in 6.5 PRC. What excites me most is that it is a "standard" Extreme Weather without the muzzle break or Cerakote. I looked at the Winchester website and don't see it as being available, but low and behold here it is.

Now to decide how to scope it and finding time to get out and give her a try!!

Nice!
When you have time, can you confirm how many it holds down?
Appreciate it and, congrats on a heck of a find!

There’s one in the local shop here too. Or at least there was a couple days ago. Picked it up, thought about it, then walked away. Just couldn’t justify it.

Oh, and believe it or not, deer bite. Fairly hard.

That’s a pretty good place to start

I have the same rifle but in 30-06, it’s a great gun.

I've got a 7WSM New Haven Classic I've been considering converting to 6PRC should the brass ever have a reprieve from unobtainium.

I can walk on water.......................but I do stagger a bit on alcohol.

Congrats, I wouldn’t hesitate to snap up another if the opportunity presented itself. Have one in 7mm08 and 30-06; the ‘06 is getting rebarreled to 9.3x62.

Leave it as it is, the 7WSM is a great round and very under estimated. IMHO it is the best of the short mags, wouldn't let go of mine and my hihair not long enough to put in the 6.5 bun. I do however own a 264 Winchester.
