Does this mean that myself and others who felt the vaccines might not be so safe since they were hurried into production might not be conspiracy theorists after all???

Remember, we still have no idea what the long term effects might be.

Absolutely does 😂

AstraZeneca WAS safe then, Health Canada said so !

“Make it a big lie. Repeat often ( and loud) . It becomes the truth “

Also helps if you scored $ 600 million to the various media lately

Of course I am overly critical

You would think this would have gotten more press too, but it goes against the narrative.

There is this now coming out in the local press.

Headline

Very little excuse' to continue to use AstraZeneca in Canada: infectious diseases specialist

It’s time to halt AstraZeneca shots in Canada, except for people 40 or older in hotspots, says Andrew Morris, a doctor on Ontario’s COVID-19 science advisory table

1) This refers to the AstraZeneca vaccine alone, not all of the vaccines.

2) If we wait until the "long term" is concluded, how long a period of time is that? One year? Five years? Ten years? Twenty years? Obviously if we wait that long, then nobody would ever get to take the vaccines.

3) Many drugs are on the market that have not had the luxury of five, ten, or twenty years of waiting. If the pharma companies had to wait for that "long term" to be concluded, no drugs would never be marketed at all.

4) Considering that the vaccines are being supplied to help stop a global pandemic like we have never experienced since the 1978 Influenza, what else can we do?

Sometimes you just have to weigh the risks of taking a vaccine versus the risks of not taking one. At my advanced age, the very real risks of not taking one outweigh the slightly possible long term risks.

Of course, we might all turn into brain-eating zombies, I suppose. grin

Having said that, I wouldn't take the AstraZeneca vaccine, either as a first or second dose.

The individual who developed this test is on record as saying that it specifically is NOT designed to accurately detect this type of virus.

Of course the approach, based on the results of this test, was following the ‘science ‘

That statement was out there best part of a year ago......crickets from the media

You are correct on #1. On #2 the point is none of the vaccines went through anything even remotely like normal trials. Thats why they have emergency authorization only. To me thats concerning.

#3 Its not about the time frame so much as about going through the approved steps. Im not a scientist, but from what I understand drugs usually go through a lot more thorough testing than any of the vaccines did.

#4 I think the data is pretty clear now that this dosent even come close to meeting the definition of a real pandemic.

Astro- Zeneca—2 million doses delivered—22 people got blood clots—3 women died.

1 and 1/4 million got sick with Covid—22,000 died.

Pretty clear on cost benefit analysis—do people not understand numbers?

Long term effects? Long term means something different when your 70 than it does when your 30.

I understand your thinking and I dont discount it, but the facts as laid out by many studies now show a somewhat different story. For starters the vast majority of people who died from covid in Canada have been older than the average life expectancy. Data also shows that deaths by heart attack and cancer is way way down. That of course is not possible. They just labeled deaths differently. Over the past decade the death rate in Canada has seen an average increase of 1.2% every year. 2020 was no different. There were no excess deaths. Then factor in that experts say that for every adverse event there are 99 more that go unreported. This tells us the real number is much higher. I know from my experience as an EMT that the incidence of heart attacks and strokes has gone through the roof since the vaccines. Then you hear doctors like that fellow in Lytton BC who has documented 3-deaths just in his small community because of vaccine complications and an entirely different story starts to emerge.

Yes its quite strange that any parent would allow their child to be vaccinated with a vaccine that has emergency use only authorization for a virus that has been proven to be no danger to that age group. We have a community meeting with some of the health department folks tonight. Myself and a few other EMTs that I know will be there questioning this.

The studies in the Nordic countries, they have good science unlike us in North America,, it's about 1 in 26,000. This is worst number so far. If anyone lives in Alberta, compared to catching COVID, , they should take those odds.

Interesting. The average age of death from covid is 81-years old. About exactly the same as average life expectancy in Canada. Cant even make this stuff up.
