I have them on several rifles and they have always worked reliably for me. The glass is not super high end, but it is plenty good for most hunting purposes.

Thanks to this thread, I'm going to buy a couple. Went with Cameraland; $150.00 (each) shipped to your door. Bob

Thank you to those who posted their experiences. I ordered 2 more of these today. It looks like they should serve my needs.

I have used more than a few of the Fullfield II with the ballistic plex reticle.
Incidentally that is my favorite reticle BY FAR.
I have had nothing but excellent luck with the Burris FFII...had them on more than half a dozen rifles and still have three in operation.... Geez, I figured you would have more than that. I dont even know how many I have, off the top of my head. Schidt, I've had 1 on 10 different rifles over the last 23 years. That is1 of 3 American made FFII's. They are hard to beat. Even the Philippine made ones are great. I'd definitely buy the FFII 3-9×40 with ballistic plex reticle over a comparable leupold.
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

Major difference being, the Poobah uses his to kill stuff, not for photo ops and riding a bench. I have used more than a few of the Fullfield II with the ballistic plex reticle.

I recently bought a couple and they look pretty good to me.
I prefer classic. Semper Fi I used to run with the hare. Now I'm envious of the tortoise and I do my own stunts but rarely intentionally

They pretty much own the entire market now for that type of scope and are pretty much the only option remaining and certainly they are without question the best combination of price and quality. I feel like I should buy half a dozen of them before some corporate type decides to discontinue the line.

For the scope experts, what is the difference between the FFII and the Droptine models?

I don’t think you can get too hurt with a $150 scope laying around.

Already have one plus an E1 lying idle. Expect I’ll have one or two more as I upgrade others.
What fresh Hell is this?

I have one on my Ruger Mk II .223. Good so far for me!

No expert but do have a couple droptine scopes and several FFii and can't really notice a difference, in performance, it's equal to me.

What about the other scopes in the Fullfield II series? Anyone have any first-hand experience with the 2-7 or 4.5-14?
