When Steve says it's complicated, that is an understatement . In Canada, heath care is provincial responsibility so heath records are provincial . The provinces administered the vaccines and some premiers are opposed to even the thought vaccine passports. Borders are federal so would the the border controls. Vaccine requirements certainly are common in world, but with the large number vaccinated it would be a paper nightmare, so they are pushing some form of digital. I'm a little sour on modern,I had to program my welder again. I don't use it enough to remember how, so I have to learn all over again.

I have been out a few times with my grandkids. We were at the perch festival not long ago. It was a lot of fun.

Lorne and Dwayne, thank you. My wife and I find ourselves sour on lots of things these days, particularly toward those who choose fear over reason. We won’t ever have a COVID vaccine credential, I’ll be dead before that happens to me or my kids. Stinks that that is what will prevent visits with loved ones but I can’t abide the risk, no matter what sort of soothing language is heard from your government or mine. I have some truly fine relatives up there, and I miss them. I’ve traveled every few years to the Peace county since as far back as I can remember.

News rarely gives anything interesting, but one time they listed areas' of BC vaccination rates. West Vancouver, maybe the richest area in Canada had over 90%, I think it was closer to 95% . This begs the question, are rich people smarter or more gullible ?

Wealthy people were able to convince themselves they were getting something which was a bit exclusive. Add to this the opportunity to signal virtue and feel morally superior to the people who actually produce their wealth and you can see why it would appeal to them. GD
