That follows what will follow, HC.

Is that when the Jewish Messiah is expected to appear?

Yep.

Maybe this is the war?

“Expected “, you ask ?

The train will run on time.

I wish them good fortune, with the hope that success will make Israel more appealing to prospective immigrants of Jewish ethnicity.

The two witnesses of Revelation 11 will protect the Jews that rebuild the 3rd Temple. These two men will preach to the world for 3-1/2 years. They are Enoch and Elijah. During their 3-1/2 years, Christ will open the six seals in Revelation 6. I have a very strong feeling these two witnesses could show up this year. If they do, know that you are in the Great Tribulation

I’ve really underestimated the extent to which dispensationalism was cemented into the minds of boomers, and how deep seated their Christian Zionism really is.

I wonder what can be done about this?

Yes, according to our Father's schedule.👍

It doesn't look like they are planning to build it for Jesus. The residents of Israel are open about their Messiah being another one in spite of His command to the disciples to reach Jerusalem first. That love and acceptance went only one way for most.

So many of today's churches are wrapped up in this idea of a rapture. It was invented in the mid 1800's by an English preacher named John Darby. I've never found anything about it in the Bible. I believe what the Bible says and it doesn't say that.

The producer of that video points out that the endeavor is fraught with peril, if the last attempt at rebuilding the Temple is any indication.

Maybe it's just more fiction to the atheists. laugh

I'd keep the building that sets there now and just occupy it by Jews. Maybe throw in some remodeling to make it Jewish. It would be a stick in the eye of every radical moslem on the planet. The moderate moslems don't care as long as it brings peace.

Many Protestants and evangelicals have misunderstood the Abrahamic covenant. One of the most popular study note Bibles of the previous century promoted hyper dispensationalism and zionism.
It was taught in most mainline seminaries too.
This does make it a hard dogma to reconsider.

There is a solution.
It starts with acceptance of the basic message in my signature. Then grow in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ by faithfully reading the Word and a good Church.

I don't follow Ryrie, but he does explain this briefly.

"Our modern understanding of rapture appears to have little or no connection with the eschatological event. However, the word is properly used of that event. Rapture is a state or experience of being carried away. The English word comes from a Latin word, rapio, which means to seize or snatch in relation to an ecstasy of spirit or the actual removal from one place to another. In other words, it means to be carried away in spirit or in body. The Rapture of the church means the carrying away of the church from earth to heaven.

The Greek word from this term “rapture” is derived appears in 1 Thessalonians 4:17, translated “caught up.” The Latin translation of this verse used the word rapturo. The Greek word it translates is harpazo, which means to snatch or take away. Elsewhere it is used to describe how the Spirit caught up Philip near Gaza and brought him to Caesarea (Acts 8:39) and to describe Paul’s experience of being caught up into the third heaven (2 Cor. 12:2-4). Thus there can be no doubt that the word is used in 1 Thessalonians 4:17 to indicate the actual removal of people from earth to heaven
"

Basically, it's a latinized term that could have just as easily been called the "harpaz" which is short for the greek harpazo. Rapture is already a common english term, albeit with a different definition when commonly used.

In the prophetic promise, it will be that the Lord will call up believers to be united with Him.
Then He will unleash His great judgement/wrath upon the world.

Didnt some sheep herder mention something about that a few thousand years ago in a weid conspiracy book called the Bible? Humm. Lucky guess.

Daniel, John, Paul and Matthew all wrote independently from one another and were miraculously in agreement.

I don't think you need to be a Dispensationalist or a Zionist to understand that Judaism still plays a role on in prophesy. I think that is plainly shown by the facts that Temple funds exist and have a ton of money and that any fool can see actually rebuilding the Temple would have epochal ramifications.

Now take a look at that word 'meet' in 1 Thes 4:17. It's used only 2 other places in the Bible, in the parable of the 10 virgins and when the Romans went out to greet Paul as he was approaching Rome. In both of those cases, the people went out to greet the guest of honor and escorted him TO HIS DESTINATION, not back to where he came from. Using those examples, Christians would be greeting Jesus in the air and escorting him TO HIS DESTINATION, EARTH, not back to where he came from, heaven.

Just another prophesied coincidence trying to show people proof His words are truth and should be adhered to Closely rather than the words of mortal men who came in His name as wolves dressed in sheeps clothing, meaning organized religion, in it for the riches, power, fame, glory, hypnotizing pomp and enchanting circumstance that seems so wonderful to those who do not hear.
