Obviously don't know you, only know what you've shared on the Forum over the years. Based on that, it sounds like both of you have been unhappy and dissatisfied for many years. Only sticking together due to family and a sense of obligation.

Life is too short to be unhappy and to feel alone and unloved. Might be time to dissolve you're relationship amicably if possible (as will always have a bond due to kids and grand kids) and both move on with your lives. She's been with you for most of your adult life, and sounds like she's stood beside you to take care of the household and family. Not judging you nor preaching, but my personal opinion is she (everyone honestly) deserves respect, honesty, and a resolution instead of having her on the back burner while you chase after Sancha's.

Just my two cents.

Have no bad feelings toward her, just want a friend and wife and not just a roommate. Would you like to sleep in separate for 12yrs?

I get that, and again, not judging. Just basing it on how I personally would roll. I would have ended it and moved on long ago were I in your situation.

Wanted to wait till my Kids were grown and successful in their own right.

Money can buy another lover.

Just to add, I had assumed that you had finally parted ways with your wife when I wrote the above.

I still say, if you are unhappy and you leave your wife, and the 58-year-old still loves you, and you love her, you are in business, and in an honest way.

I will say the 58 yr old lady is very nice looking. Seems to be holding up very well.

Get a boat with the inheritance - then decide.

Had a good conversation with the old lady. Going to sell her the house, she agrees and knows neither of us has been happy for years.

Being with the younger woman didn’t bring happiness, ain’t no guarantee the older one will either.

If you want to know how someone is eventually gonna treat you, you need to look to the way they’ve treated previous relationships in their lives.

That pretty 58yo is single, gotta be a reason for that.
