He played quite a bit of the game from the rough too, tough course and brutal wind. I watched most of yesterdays round and I hate spending that much time in front of the tube! What a raucous bunch there at the end! No fun was had that day!

Anybody who has paid attention to the career of Phil Mickleson did not rest easy until he put that last shot on the green. He would have the career grand slam already had he not blown a two shot lead on the last hole of a US Open. FIGJAM pulled it out and now has his own place in golf history. If he has a good week putting, he is still good enough to contend and win anytime he tees it up.

Nothing links about that course except proximity to the ocean.

No, it’s a Pete Dye course. A funky layout with lots of forced carries and raised greens. A Pete Dye course is the antithesis of a links course.

Pete Dye was just plain mean, but most of the American version of golf is gimmicky so it fits.

So in the spirit of "all things golf" . . .

I tune in today to watch the Oklahoma State Cowgirls take on the Ole Miss Runnin' Rebs in the women's NCAA Championship match. With all the social media keeping a close eye on the chauvinist white males, I just saw the Ole Miss asst coach crab a handful of tittie belonging to the nicely endowed Kennedy Swan, one of the five Ole Miss players.

The Ole Miss coach was holding the flag, and standing several feet behind and to the right of Swan as she lined up a 12 footer for an eagle. As she putted, the coach began walking behind her to watch the line of the put and when it went in, Swan reached down to pick her ball out of the cup, and as she stepped back, she bumped into the Ole Miss coach's chest with her backside. He then grabbed her high around her torso, with his right arm, as if he was trying to keep her from falling (which she was not) and then grabbed the outside half of her right boob, and copped a good squeeze, before releasing her. The camera gave a close up clear shot of the Faux Pas.

Will be curious to see if the social media attacks him.
