Fascinating. Especially how you convert centerfire to rimfire. Do you just leave a spent primer in place to cover the original primer pocket?
No, I solder a brass plug in the centerfire primer pocket. There is a 2-part video on my YouTube channel showing the process I use to convert a case from centerfire to rimfire. There other videos that you may find interesting too. Steve
I took the .56-50 rimfire Remington split breech carbine to the range again today. I was testing a new load of 34.5 gr of Schuetzen 2F, Rapine 350 bullet and an empty Ramset as a primer. This was giving me around 700fps. It shoots well and I had no perforated primers. I really like this load :-)
