My Remington 700 Classic in 223 Remington is really a shooter.
My Classic in 223 shoots the 50 grain Nosler Ballistic Tips into small, impressive groups.
It shoots way better, in MY opinion, than a sporter weight mass produced factory Rifle should shoot!
One of my older (at hand) Remington catalogs from 2,012 shows all their offerings in 223 Remington (other than their "Tactical" models) to be "right hand twist 1 turn in 12".
The "Tacticals" twist is "right hand 1 in 9".
