Any thoughts on these..... any owners care to chime in with a review. I have purchased one in 308 win and was just curious about the opinions on them. Weatherby style stock and a 24" barrel. Just a different critter. Old school I guess. I just wanted to try something different. It's made in Germany May be looking for a low powered or standard variable (3-9) piece of German glass for it soon. I don't have pics yet but it can be seen on gun broker sold auctions. Bidding didn't get to crazy If any one may be interested in the weaver on top of it it most likely will be for sale.

I have one in .300 win mag. It's a nice rifle and very accurate, but it tends to sit in the safe because the Weatherby-esque stock design and fairly light weight really make recoil noticable. I'm sure that won't be an issue with a .308 though

Same as a Kleinguenther K-14 I believe. No the Shikar was the model before the K-14.

Remember that most European scopes have metric tubes, usually 26mm, and 26mm rings can be a PITA to find and often expensive when you do find them.

I like to put B. Nickel scopes on my European rifles and combination guns and have run into the hard to find, expensive when found, 26mm ring issue a few times.
