Due to advancing age, health issues, et.al; I have decided to cull the herd, so to speak. I have some #1's that I'm sure I will never get around to playing with and my interest in these chamberings has waned. This is what I have:
K1-A (stainless/walnut) in 6.5x55 N.I.B.
K1-A (stainless/walnut) in .35 Whelen. N.I.B.
#1-AB in .338 Federal, N.I.B.
#1-AB in .30/06. Used, I've never fired it.
I can only send pics to a smart phone... If anyone is interested, PM me... I have not determined the prices as yet, but I will not give them away, or sell at a loss. But I will sell for somewhat less than market value... As the realists amoung you all know, Wood quality has always been hit or miss. I have mostly missed on all of my #1s And I have owned over 60 of them. But then, I bought all mine to shoot and to hunt with. Not to sit around and admire. I merely thought I'd offer them to my friends here on the fire, first. But in the next few days they will be on Gunbroker.

That .338 Fed sure would be a great whitetail/elk/hog rifle!

Sorry to hear about your health issues Grasshopper , myself as well, I have been slowly attempting at downsizing so I don't leave a mess of stuff for my son to deal with when I leave for quieter ranges- it's not working out very well however ! Cat

Cat; I hear you... A recent conversation with my daughter, netted the fact she hates guns and would much rather I'd sell them all now.. Since my hunting partner passed unexpectedly, hunting just does not have the same satisfaction now that it did. It will likely take me a couple of years to properly thin the herd, but I thought I should get to it..

Good on ya for thinning the herd
My dad did not and it was a PITA.
Im damn near a minimalist and with #1s its easy to just say why not, and buy em in multiple.
Resisting is a battle LOL
Even my ol lady says buy em, because she thinks theyre rje prettiest rifles out there.

grasshopper hasn't logged on since 11-5-21. He was top notch to deal with and always had fun toys to trade. I do hope he is happy where ever he is right now.

Amen, met Ed years ago, he came by and showed me many of his collection, his Swede looked like the twin of the one I had.
Fine man, friend, and had great taste in arms. I am going to try giving him a call to see how he's been.
