50 years ago I was playing Little League football in Forest Park, Georgia. I was 10 years old. My dad drove a truck for T.I.M.E.-DC, at that time one of the trucking industry's largest carriers. I had an intact family, and I don’t think I had a stressful care in the world.
Every day on this side of the ground is a win.

50 years ago I was playing Little League football in Forest Park, Georgia. I was 10 years old. My dad drove a truck for T.I.M.E.-DC, at that time one of the trucking industry's largest carriers. I had an intact family, and I don’t think I had a stressful care in the world. You lived an existence few would comprehend these days. Sad, huh?

I was a planned and wanted child. Only saw my real father once, was in 6th grade, doubt if I was planned. He and my mother married, but never lived together, so I’m not a bastard child. I’d say most of us are surprises.
