Thanks

I had an early version with the 18" barrel and accurate with about any load I run trough it, didn't try anything heavier than the 65gr sierra. I now have the 7 predator with 22" barrel and it is a little more picky. It comes in camo and the stock had to be sanded down on 1 side because it was pressed into the barrel, I also left the forend bump in place, was going to remove it and being a new rifle I decided to try it first. Only tried the 55gr sierra and it groups 5 no bigger than a nickel on several shootings.

Had a ss one, in 223. Was very accurate with 40 and 50 grain ballistic tips. That’s all I shot through it. Sold it few years ago, wish I hadn’t.

I have a stainless Model Seven that I bedded in a Remington Custom Shop laminated mannlicher-style stock. It shoots good enough for the predators that I hunt with it. Not match grade accurate, but certainly Minute-Of-Coyote accurate out to a quarter mile or so.

I had one for a while. Sold it here as I was building a fast twist 223 on a 700 action and money was tighter back then.

Good rifles. It was a shooter!

I had the original wood stocked version. With the right ammo it shot great. Groups you could cover with a dime. Ammo it didn't like would take a baseball to cover.

Have an older stainless synthetic one tucked away in the back of the safe for my son when he’s old enough. I picked it up second hand about 15 years ago. Shoots factory black hills well under moa and is handy to carry.

Where would one find a stock like that? I don't think I've ever seen one for sale.

I had one for years. Stainless synthetic, 20" pencil barrel. It shot about 3/4 moa on average with 50g Vmaxes. I had it with me a lot and shot a lot of varmints with it.

I then built a faux Ti in 223 AI with an 8 twist pacnor and its the one that's gone everywhere with me since. I sold the model 7 to a fire member I think that was really wanting one. I still have its twin a model 7 SS in 308 and it shoots 155g scenars about 3/4 moa. It gets loaned out from time to time to new hunters and neighbors. I'm not sure when or why it became the designated loaner.

I've got a 20" stainless synthetic. For 3 shots it's the most accurate sporter I've owned. It'll hang for 4, but 5 shots it gets hot I guess & starts to open up. Another sample might be another story. But this one is a keeper.

I've considered selling it a few times, but just can't due to it's crazy accuracy. 55 NBT w/IMR4198.

I have a 223 model 7, but not ss. It has been accurate with all loads 've tried.

I prefer classic.
