I always thought it was a weapon.
Not so sure our own govt wasn't a willing participant.
Look how much Social Security $$ was saved by killing off old folks.
Look how much control govt got over everyone's lives.
The above are incentive enough.

The above are incentive enough. If we are talking Social Security $$ savings and control I always have wondered why our government was fighting nicotine and smoking. Not much is more addictive or good at saving SS money with much shorter payouts. I have been saying for quite some time that smoking is all that has kept SS going this long.
