The screwed up #3 has a forend kinda sorta fitted and found an M8 10x CPC ( like the one I had way back ).... Got 100 handloads dads bud made, for this .219 D Wasp Beans are 3 to 4" high. Rains should zoom em. Hopefully this thing dials in this weekend and i can pop a chuck. Loads shot well when gun wore other wood. Looks better now.

If it shoots half as well as it looks, the chucks are in serious trouble. Nice piece.

Very nice. I like to say that every #1 can benefit from 1A fore arms.

24" bbl didnt look right w a B forend IMHO. Maybe due to lack of rib.
Found a Tropical forend and figured itd be less material to remove so took the chance. Think it looks OK. $135 and not perfect but clean enough for me ( buttstock has dings, was 125.....and I paid 15 for a used red pad ).
Wrapped XM177 flashider w 400grit paper and used that to work down the bbl channel LOL.
No stud for bipod. Suppose sticks or backpack for a rest.

Thanks. Too hot now to go to range. Too beat up from work to have made it out before the scorch. Try for tomorrow early.

Need to adjust scope back down. Horizontal adj correct. Went too high ( old M8 is friction, no click ) 3 shots into 2 holes aint shabby 100yds.

Want it an inch high at 100. Shot the FAL and Sig 365 at shorter range and then a couple guys were shooting AK shorties. Blast was thumpin me pretty good LOL.....so never got back to the hundred to adj the Wasp.
Just called it a day.
Did not use set feature of Canjar trigger either. Was light enough as is. Heartbeat from too much sugar/ caffeine breakfast......and old eyes......was a bit of struggle to keep the bouncing crosshair in the red bull at 100 at a mere 10x. But a bottle of water and a bit of time made it doable.
Front bag, arms on bench. Forgot my riser for the front bag, to use the rear.
Got the load data and 90 rounds still left. Proly burn 10 next range trip then kill chit.

I assume that it was rebarreled? By who? I have a roached #1 in 7mm that needs a new barrel and I am thinking of a 6mm something. I am at the point where I have the budget to send it off somewhere for the work.

6x45 on the small, or .358 win if big. May just part the gun out. As I have an old #1 also.
Have Redding dies and the load data for this rifle ( dads bud made some loads for it ).
Red pad does nothing for the recoil, which is minor. But a pad w a bit of give would make this rig even more comfy. Just sayin.

Kinda hard to be pissed off on a bubba'd gun that shoots under half an inch LOL.
Beans are gettng tall. Gotta get this down a bit and blast something next weekend.
Is a bit different, w 3 lever and 1 wood, hand being more open to shoot. Be nicer if lever reworked. Def mandatory if converting to something of bump.
Varmint rig is doable w the conflicted arrangement.
