Yep. Universal registration (either directly or by indirect means like universal background checks) is imperative for confiscation. That's why they've been pushing for it for so long. They cannot fully implement the Great Reset (think your favorite dystopian novel) on an armed population.

I'd be willing to bet that these so called trauma surgeons in Democratic run cities deal with far more 9mm wounds delivered by a handgun than .223 AR-15 "Assault weapon" wounds. They can identify bullet wounds by caliber now? Who'd a thought?. AR confiscation/registration is a stepping stone, they really want handguns but they're being strangely silent about then....for the time being.
