Check out Weigh Safe. I bought one several years ago when I needed to pick up a new trailer and didn't know what hitch height I would need. It will also show hitch weight. Seems to be very well made. Looks like a forged aircraft part. Etrailer has good videos and you can call for advice and info.

I wore one of those weigh safe versions out in about 25,000 miles pulling between 7 and 9 K.

Weigh safe 180, with the matching locking pin that is keyed the same. Just leave it in the receiver, flipped around so you don't knock shins on it. Best hitch I've owned by far. I have the 2.5" shank version, rated for 18,500 lbs.

I have an Andersen Rapid Ball Hitch w/greaseless 2" and 2 /58" balls on a turnover dovetail. I use it for pulling my boat (~4K#). I've also hauled 2 different 10K# bumper-hitch 40' campers.

Andersen AL Hitch

I haven't a clue if there's a "better" on that what I got.
