I can't help you with lots of plains game but for buffalo the Zambezi valley is my choice.There are some old dagga boys still around and the country is great-no swamp or large open areas just classic dry mixed forest or woodland and some hills-beautiful tress.It is the kind of hunt where you walk a lot and get up close to take your buff.Chewore should be a nice area then there are others nearby.There is plains game, they are just not every where in numbers.I like to stay a night in Harare in and out and you can drive to the hunting area from Harare-save on a charter and see the magnificent country.
