Got a flyer today, says yes, State is going to issue checks for 600 bucks as additional pandemic relief. Waste of money but ok, that's 6 bricks of .22 ammo, reading further it says you must meet certain criteria...you must file taxes in 2020...ok, that's good, but the taxes in 2020 must be filed using a "Individual Taxpayers Identification Number". What is an ITIN I'm wondering, so I google it. That my friends is the number assigned to illegal aliens by the State, because they can't get a Social Security number on account of no birth certificate. Sooo, if I'm reading it right, the 600 bucks is for the Meskins only. Clever, Gavin, very clever, you little rascal.

And that's the point, you don't understand how far down the toilet Calif has gone...if an illegal is holding a job, they are assigned the ITIN automatically so they CAN file and get Earned Income Credit cash, they can get drivers license from DMV, they qualify for a free ride at La Clinica, free daycare...it never ends, they are encouraged to participate in an open economy, they do NOT fear La Migra, there is no enforcement. They don't live in fear "in the shadows". They have full benefits and more of a citizen...without the responsibilities of citizenship. Year after year, state government attempts to enact 'motor voter'...the left's ticket to a one party rule. And sadly, it's just not Calif...it's coming to a state near you, Oregon is hot on our heels right now. Calif is still the 5th largest economy in the world, and the big players and corporate farmers and food processors that use cheap labor, are not going to let La Migra interrupt that labor source.

That's out of context. The complete context also says 'OR A CalEITC recipient". That's the earned income credit which applies to citizens with low incomes who have children. So, it's available to illegals but also to low income legal citizens.

Since I came to SoCal as a kid in the early 60's and started learning about these things..........that cheap labor part has never changed and anytime "Immigration Reform" has come up it's been stopped. And no one needs to tell me which lobby put the heat to some Congressional asses to stop it.
